Ear Wax Removal Gloucestershire is now offering weekly appointments at the covenantally located Sevenside Medical Practice in the heart of Gloucester. You can expect the same five star service from our highly professional and proficient ear care practitioner, Mike Sims. Free parking is available in the base of the building. Additional parking is available in near by car parks. Our Gloucester Clinic is at the brand new and covenantally located Severnside Medical Practice, next to Gloucester's Old Prison. You can expect the same five star service from our highly professional and proficient ear care practitioner, Mike Sims. Parking is FREE under the medical practice. During your appointment, we will use our TympaHealth digital otoscopy to take high quality photos and videos of your ear blockage. We will document these images to show you. If required we will use a process called microsuction to safely suck out any blockages within your ear canal. Microsuction is considered the gold standard when it comes to ear wax removal. The procedure is quick, painless and safer than other methods of earwax removal. A small suction device called a Zoellner is inserted through the TympaHealth Otoscope to gently removing ear wax and clear the path to the eardrum. We will regally check in with you to ensure you are comfortable at all times. Photos and Videos will be taken of your clear ear canal and ear drum after the procedure has been completed. If appropriate we will also offer you a hearing. A hearing check highlights the thresholds you hear different frequencies. If your hearing is below the recommended threshold we will advise you attend a full audiological hearing test with an audiologist. We can refer you through the TympaHealth Referral's to a trusted Audiological provided.
